Job Title: Intern - Sustainability Department

Location: Shanghai

Job Type: Intern

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the implementation of the Company’s overall ESG strategy and facilitate a number of sustainability initiatives, including but not limited to renewable energy, green building certification, environmental audit, climate risk due diligence, etc;
2. Regularly track, analyze, and report the ESG performances of assets under management, consolidate findings for changes as needed, and assist with the maintenance of China’s asset data in the Global ESG management platform;
3. Assist in project management and coordinate external consultants;
4. Assist with feasibility studies on new ESG topics, including but not limited to mandatory/voluntary carbon markets, voluntary emission reduction mechanisms, energy storage, green power trading, etc;
5. Other internal and external ESG related communications.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Senior year or graduate student;
2. A foundational understanding of ESG and sustainability, strong personal interest in Real Estate Asset Management; background in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainable development, and renewable energy is preferred;
3. Chinese native speaker with excellent English language skill;
4. Good research ability and independent thinking, good communication skills and a strong work ethic;
5. Start preferably in July and work for at least 6 months;
6. Proficient in using office software such as PPT, Excel, Outlook with data analytics skills.
